Drew and I looked at each other and just started laughing really hard. I don't know why it was so funny, but it was.
Second of all, I am the EXACT same when it comes to onions. I hate it. My eyes sting really bad and then I have to open the front door and stand in the cold air to relieve my itching, burning eyes. BUT do you know who has a solution to that? Our friendly RN Ed.
He told me that if you put olive oil on the knife before you cut the onion it doesn't sting your eyes...it really doesn't.
Also I've heard putting a piece of bread in your mouth and let it rest on your tongue with your mouth open a little bit while you're chopping works. I can't remember if I tried that one.
Good luck though, hopefully my suggestions help!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17238551645907868918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575341548769013548.post-69563698990940242032011-01-31T13:57:52.842-07:002011-01-31T13:57:52.842-07:00You are hilarious and I absolutely adore you!You are hilarious and I absolutely adore you!Randihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07278503000474754289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575341548769013548.post-44601449586095494632011-01-31T13:13:22.413-07:002011-01-31T13:13:22.413-07:00Haha. My mom actually owns a pair, no joke. And what I do to lessen the sting, is I keep my onions in the fridge - they are WAY less potent cutting them after being in the fridge for a while!Janellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04934467443364792619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575341548769013548.post-29257052860026804352011-01-31T12:30:38.067-07:002011-01-31T12:30:38.067-07:00girl i totally wear goggles whenever i chop onions...girl i totally wear goggles whenever i chop onions. we're geniuses!mkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18308750556709004606noreply@blogger.com
